Neal finished his Championship at 2 1/2 with a Specialty major under a breeder-judge. Neal is a gentle, intelligent dog.

Neal joined a new family in December 2007. Neal and human partners Helen and Gerard successfully earned a Canine Good Citizen certificate in 2008.

Neal has been a popular Irish Setter ambassador wherever Helen and Gerard take him. He began a second career as a therapy dog, helping children to read, and now has graduated to a full fledged Service Dog. Neal performs all sorts of helping duties and is welcome in restaurants, stores, health facilities, airplanes, etc. As Helen and Gerard say, "he offers service with a smile."
