Eleven boys and two girls were whelped on November 10, 2009.
We are very pleased with the quality of this litter; we are expecting sound, big moving dogs with sweet temperments. There are some wonderful show and obedience prospects in this litter.
By eighteen months old, this litter has several puppies well on their way to AKC championships, two National specialty placing puppies, several Best of Breeds over finished champions, multiple specialty majors, multiple Best in Sweepstakes wins. In five months of showing, this litter accumulated 27 points from the 6-9 month and 9-12 month puppy classes. Austin, the sire of this litter, won the Irish Setter Club of America Best Sire Award in 2010 based on the successes from the Redking "Repeat" and Anamacara "I'm" litters.
Carlin has won multiple Best in Sweepstakes, mulitple Best Puppy awards, two Specialty majors, a third major, a Puppy Group I, and placed at the National Specialty. He also won the Irish Setter Club of America 2010 puppy dog award. He needs three points to finish his Championship.
Gavin earned his first point at seven months, went Best of Breed over a special, and was Group II. Gavin has had multiple puppy group placements. He took his second Best of Breed over mulitple specials a just under 18 months old.
Ducky was AKC pointed by 8 months old, and finished his AKC Championship at 20 months withtwo majors, two Specialty major reserves, and two National specialty placements.
At seven months old, Rua won his first point, and was Best Puppy and Best of Opposite Sex over a special.
Other littermates have already earned agility titles, rally titles,Canine Good Citizen certificates, and are working toward obedience and field titles; others will be making their ring debut soon.
