Dana came to us from breeder/judge Lynne Mehring as a ten week old puppy.Dana had outstanding movement, a gentle and affectionate temperament and a birdy nose.

Mother to the Kiss and Earth litters,  Dana produced six AKC Champions with another four AKC pointed; seven UKC Champions, five obedience titled offspring, and on field titled offspring.

Career Accomplishments

• As a puppy, Best in Sweepstakes twice, Best of Breed (and two points) from the 9-12 puppy class over specials, and two major reserves.
• Specialty major under breeder/judge Shelia Smith,
• Finished with a five point major under all breed judge Joe Gregory the day after the Minnesota Irish Setter Specialty.Six major reserves, including a St. Louis Irish Setter Specialty.
• Accumulated 13 AKC Best of Breed wins, and multiple Best of Opposite Sex wins with limited showing.
• After two litters, she won Best Veteran in Sweeps at the Irish Setter Club of Milwaukee.
• Won the Dam of the Year award from the Irish Setter Club of Milwaukee (2004, 2005, 2006).
• Won the Dorothy Heath award from the Irish Setter Club of Milwaukee (2002)

Dana passed the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test at 8 months old, and completed her Companion Dog (CD) title with four consecutive qualifying scores at age 2. She completed her Rally Novice (RN) title in three trials. She was Therapy Dog International (TDI) registered. All wins and titles have been achieved completely owner-handled.
